Stanford has a deferred rush policy, meaning that formal rush happens at the beginning of Spring quarter. Freshmen are not allowed to rush until the beginning of Spring quarter, while non-freshman are allowed to rush any of the three quarters.
Historically, the rush process at Stanford consists of about 3 rush nights per chapter leading up to an invite-only off-campus rush retreat. Bids are extended after this retreat by the following Monday.
If you are a freshman wanting more information about rush at Stanford, or an upperclassmen wanting to inquire about informal rush in either the Fall or Spring, we encourage you to drop a line to our president at email@example.com. Otherwise, be sure to check this page closer to the Spring to see what we got planned for our rush events this year!
